Not every thought needs to become a thesis. Some are better as a paragraph, a question, a photograph with a few words beside it. For a long time, I let those small thoughts disappear because they did not seem substantial enough to keep.
Beginning here
This journal is an attempt to give them a place. A place for things I am looking at, things I am learning, and ideas that are still finding their shape. A place that can change slowly without needing to explain every change.
A notebook does not ask a thought to be finished before it lets it in.
Writing something down changes our relationship with it. A vague feeling becomes a sentence we can return to. A question becomes an invitation to notice its answers in the world. Even when the writing is imperfect, the act of making it is useful.
So this is a beginning. A few pages, some images, and enough empty space for whatever comes next. Thank you for spending a little of your time here.
